The NE'lies continued so I checked out Pagham today for a change of scenery. I wasn't expecting the weather to be quite as glorious as yesterday or the wind quite as strong, with maybe cloudy 5.8 weather at best. However the sight that you always hope for when you arrive at the beach greeted me today - 15-20 sailors on the water, all fully powered up and flying across abundant white caps under perfect blue skies. So conditions turned out to be very similar to yesterday; more gusty 5.2 weather illuminated by more wall-to-wall sunshine. It felt proper summery out there (apart from the water temp) and at times was really getting me in the mood for the imminent warm weather sailing in Morocco... :->

Despite the very similar conditions I enjoyed today's session more than yesterday's, dunno why, I just seemed to spend more time doing what I wanted to do and less time getting frustrated by the gusts and chop. I think the chop was a bit less severe and the wind was slightly cross-on instead of yesterday's slightly cross-off and therefore maybe a tad more consistent. Plus I realised that I much prefer Pagham as a place to sail than Pevensey - it feels more attractive and isolated and the sand bars always add interest to the conditions. So apart from a sustained drop in the wind at the end overall t'was another good session to complete another good weekend.
